What is our return policy?

Once your product has been dispatched, you’ll have 45 days to organise your exchange or refund (excluding briefs and nursing pads, for hygiene reasons). We require all products to be returned in their original unworn condition, with their garment tags and labels in place. All swimwear returns & exchanges must have the hygiene sticker intact.

Please note that any worn, damaged or tag-less garments will not be accepted.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

What’s the 45 day try-on period?

We’re glad you asked. We created the 45 day try-on period because we understand that you're super busy—so our 45 Day Try-on period allows you to order your favourite products online and try it on in the comfort of your own home and in your own time, just as you would in-store. Not happy with the fit? No problem! You have 45 days from the date of purchase to exchange or return your unworn, unwashed and undamaged product. It’s our guarantee to you, that you have time. As mums ourselves, we know just how precious that is.

Please keep in mind that our returns policy must still be followed to ensure you remain eligible for a return/exchange.

What is an easy return?

It’s exactly what it says. Easy (mums rejoice!). We know as a mama, you’re tight on time as it is and the last thing you want to do is to fuss about over returning or exchanging an item. Our Easy Return form allows you to complete your full return or exchange on the spot, allowing you to select which products you’d like to exchange and what you would like to receive instead. You can do this whenever you want (within the 45 day try-on period) and it only takes a few minutes to do.

No forms or back and forth communication, there’s no need to email us or even talk to us - unless you want to of course. We’ve made it simple so you can get back to the better things in life

So, can I trial the product for 45 days?

Unfortunately not. This is not a trial period, just a try-on. Treat this experience as you would an in-store try on, it’s the exact same - except we allow you do so in the comfort of your own home.

Do you accept returns internationally?

How long do I have to organise an exchange or refund?

Once your product has been received, you have 45 days to organise your exchange or refund. See what’s the 45 day try-on period.

Can I modify or cancel a return once submitted?

Returns cannot be modified or canceled once submitted. You will need to contact us at to cancel or modify a return once it has been submitted.

Can I return something I purchased from a third-party retailer?

Unfortunately, only products purchased directly from us through this website can be returned or exchanged by us. If you have purchased a Cake Maternity product from a reseller or another retailer, please contact them in relation to their terms, warranties, returns & exchanges.

Can I return sale products?

You can, however, sale products can only be refunded for store credit. Sale items listed under “Last Chance Page” are not eligible for return or exchange unless deemed faulty.

What if my product is defective?

We will replace any products with a manufacturer’s defect, so long as it has been purchased through our online store. Please contact if you have any defective items.

How long will my order take to have my exchange/refund processed?

You will receive your exchange/refund within 7-10 days from receipt of your return, provided the products are in their original condition as detailed in our return policy when they are assessed.

To avoid delay in processing your refund/exchanges please make sure you include a copy of the returns form or a hand-written note of the order number with your package.

We recommend using a track & trace service when sending in your returns. This will guarantee receipt and ensure your exchange/refund is processed quickly.

We cannot provide exchanges or refunds for returns we don't receive.

Will I have to pay postage to return?

Unless the product is deemed faulty, you will need to cover the cost of returning the garments back to us for a refund or exchange.

What address do I send my return to?

When lodging your return online there is a prompt to download your ‘Returns & Exchanges’ form that is to be included with your return. You will find the returns address on the top left hand corner of this form. If you missed this while lodging your return it is also included as an attachment in the return/exchange email confirmation you received. We have return facilities in the US, UK and Australia. The address for the relevant returns facility for your country will be displayed on your Returns & Exchanges form.
