This stylish nursing chemise is made with super soft modal fabric, trimmed with gorgeous stretch satin and features a built-in shelf bra that provides support for nursing mamas, while remaining comfortable enough to sleep in. Easy feed drop down cups provide convenient breastfeeding access for those nighttime feeds, while the comfy and breathable cotton blend fabric means Gateau grows with you throughout pregnancy, is soft for birth/post-birth wear and it flatters postpartum bodies.

Cake was born out of our founder, Tracey Montford’s own personal struggle during her pregnancy journey. In her search for comfortable, functional and stylish maternity and nursing wear, it appeared hitting all three was the trifecta that didn’t exist. Suddenly in this new role, she was being forced into this one-size-fits-all mould of how a mother should look—and it wasn’t pretty. She wanted more and realised that if she felt this way, so must many other women across the world.
This became her driving force to create beautiful, high quality, functional and comfortable pieces inspired by her own experiences designed to support mamas on their breastfeeding journey. Bras that truly enhance the lives of women every day, allowing them to fully embrace motherhood & all that it brings to the table.

This is a great dress, the fabric feels great and soft and the fit is really beautiful. I wore it from 6 to 9 months pregnancy and feit very pretty in it. Also now breastfeeding my baby it is the greatest dress, very comfortable and hiding my postpartum belly. My normal size is S and thus size was also the good fit. If it would be available in another colour I woul by it without a doubt, even now after pregnancy, only for breastfeeding.
